50 DAYS TO GO UNTIL THE ITU WORLD TRIATHLON ABU DHABI 2018

To mark 50 days to go until the ITU World Triathlon Abu Dhabi, taking place on Yas Island from 2 - 3 March, organisers have launched a social media competition giving away a once-in-a-lifetime prize to the public. As part of the long-running Triathlon Tag-Team competition, applicants are required to tag their favourite training buddies around the world for the exclusive opportunity to fly them to Abu Dhabi to together participate in the ITU World Triathlon Series season opener alongside the world's fastest triathletes.

The competition will launch on Thursday, 11 January and close on Thursday, 1 February.

Applicants are required to:

• Follow WTS Abu Dhabi on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter
• Tag their favourite training buddy anywhere in the world
• Mention why they want to nominate their friend / family member for this great prize

The lucky winner will receive:

• One return flight from anywhere in the world to Abu Dhabi with Etihad Airways
• Two free entries to the ITU World Triathlon Abu Dhabi
• A pair of ON Running shoes

Terms and conditions:

• The 'traveller' must over 18 years old on the date of the flight and must be one of the travelers. 
• The flight will be subject to Etihad Airways’ general terms and conditions of carriage, as stipulated on Etihad Airways website (www.etihad.com).
• The flight and race entry must be taken over the dates of the 2018 ITU World Triathlon Abu Dhabi (2-3 March 2018).
• Flight must be on a direct Etihad Airways route to and from Abu Dhabi. Travel costs to and from the airport will not be covered.
• Flight is economy class and cannot be upgraded. The travelers must depart and return to the same airport.
• Flight is subject to availability, and may exclude ‘black-out’ times
• The prize excludes all costs not mentioned above. Costs that are not covered include: travel insurance, visa costs, transfers to and from the airport, spending money, bike trabsport, and all other travel expenses.
• The winner will be entirely responsible for his/her own passport, visa, travel insurance and other travel requirements, such as any inoculations required. If for any reason, the winner is unable to obtain the necessary travel documents, he/she forfeits the prize.
• Once booked, the flights cannot be changed.
• This prize is non-transferable, non-deferable and there are no cash alternatives.
