WTCS Abu Dhabi 2025 to take place on 15-16 February

The World Triathlon Championship Series (WTCS) organizers have announced a change in the schedule for the 2025 season-opening race in Abu Dhabi. The event will now take place on its originally planned dates of 15-16 February 2025.

This adjustment of the calendar comes as a result of a scheduling conflict with another major event occurring in Abu Dhabi during the week of 8 February, making it impossible for the local organizing committee to deliver the race as announced previously.

We sincerely apologize for this change and appreciate the understanding and support of the athletes, teams, and fans as we adapt to these circumstances. We are committed to delivering an exceptional race experience and look forward to kicking off the 2025 World Triathlon Championship Series season in style and welcoming participants and spectators to Abu Dhabi in February.
